The game saves a few small values in your browser's local storage or the app's equivalent: which levels you have beaten, your Daily Dash streak and times, whether sound is muted, and whether you own the Golden Pass or Golden Jimothy. Nothing in that store identifies you, and we cannot read it from our side. Clearing your browser's site data, or deleting the app, erases it.
Both the website and the app send gameplay events to Google Analytics so we can see how the game is used. Specifically:
_ga cookie; in the app it is a random app-instance id. It is not linked to your Apple ID, Google account or anything else about you.We do not use Google Signals, advertising features or ads personalization, and we do not sell or share this data for advertising. Google processes the data on our behalf under Google's privacy policy, with Google Analytics' standard data-retention settings. You can block analytics in your browser with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or any content blocker; the game works the same without it.
In the app, the Golden Pass is a one-time in-app purchase sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handle payment and hold your payment details; we never receive them. To check that a purchase is valid and restore it on a new phone, the app uses RevenueCat, which stores an anonymous app user id (a random string generated on your device) and your purchase history for this app. That id is not tied to your name, email or Apple/Google account on our side.
On the website, the Golden Pass and Golden Jimothy are sold through Ko-fi. Ko-fi handles payment and may pass us the display name and email address you used there so we can help with your order. We use them only for that and do not add you to any list.
If you choose to sign in to Apple Game Center or Google Play Games on your device, leaderboards and achievements are run by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. The game only submits your score; it does not receive your friends list or profile.
The game is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, children included. There are no accounts, no chat and no ads. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, write to us and we will delete it.
We share data only with the processors named above — Google (analytics), Apple and Google (app purchases, Game Center / Play Games), RevenueCat (purchase validation) and Ko-fi (website purchases) — and only for the purposes described. We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold or shared any in the preceding twelve months.
Everything travels over HTTPS. Analytics data is kept under Google Analytics' standard retention settings; purchase records are kept as long as the purchase is valid so it can be restored. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to help you.
If this policy changes, the new version appears at this address with a new effective date. Meaningful changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
